Part of the fun of radio was that the stations used to produce items that you could buy or they gave away. The old favourites are T-shirts and pens but Radio City went even further with sweatshirts, key rings, badges, bush hats, mugs and many more items. We've been lucky here because we also have pictures of things that members of the public never saw or could get hold of. We have to thank John Sheffield for these pictures from his own collection e.g. the roadshow jackets, the clock and the T-shirt John wore from the launch photo (click here to see). John was the man behind the Traffic Dept. when City began but he was also known as John Barry on the weekend Nightowl from '75-'77.

City FM
bomber jacket.

Three Radio City pens.
The top one was given to stock market investors and the middle one was a
Pierre Cardin pen for the launch of City Talk.

Below at the back…...
Denim Coca Cola,
Starsky and Hutch style red with white sleeves.   In the front…...
Red and white shell suit,
Black City FM.

And still looking good from behind.
